Setting the Bar High, Every Plate, Every Time
In the fifth week of my internship, I focused on quality control and ensuring consistency in every dish that left the kitchen. I closely observed the branch manager’s meticulous attention to detail, from checking food presentation to monitoring cooking times. I assisted in conducting quality checks to guarantee that every plate met the restaurant’s high standards.
Reflection: Week five taught me the invaluable lesson of maintaining consistency and striving for excellence in every aspect of the dining experience. It made me realize that customers trust us to deliver not just great food, but also consistent quality. This week’s quote resonates with my experience: “Quality is not an act; it is a habit.” – Aristotle. It reminded me that excellence is not a one-time achievement but a continuous commitment to delivering the best.
